The Suhr ML Standard middle pickup takes the classic 60’s single-coil recipe and turns up the output without losing the character that makes vintage-style pickups so addictive. Expect tight low end, a focused midrange, and that smooth, glassy top-end sparkle players chase from a great single coil – just with more push behind it for extra sustain and drive.
Under the hood, Suhr uses a modified staggered pole piece design that evens out the magnetic field across the strings. That matters more than it sounds: flatter neck radiuses and modern string gauges can throw off balance with older-style staggered poles, so this design keeps output consistent string to string on today’s guitars.
Wound RW/RP for hum-cancelling operation in the middle position when paired with compatible neck and bridge pickups, this one comes in a clean white cover to match your build.
