Description
Seymour Duncan built the Antiquity Texas Hot Custom Bridge for players who love the mojo of an aged ’50s single-coil but want a bit more shove behind it. It carries the same relic’d-cover treatment and magnetically/physically aged construction as the rest of the Antiquity line, so it looks and behaves like a pickup that’s been on stage since Eisenhower — right down to the specially aged cover, which is genuinely worn rather than tinted to fake it.
Underneath the vintage cosmetics is a coil wound “top going” with North polarity, matching the winding direction and polarity found on the earliest vintage Strat pickups. The alnico magnets are calibrated for consistent output across the set, and staggered with a raised profile above flatwork for balanced string-to-string response. Compared to a standard Texas Hot, this bridge unit pushes a bit harder — more output, more fullness — without losing that airy single-coil character.
Comes complete with mounting screws, wiring schematics, and vintage-style “push back” cloth braid hookup wire, so you’re ready to drop it straight into your wiring harness.
