Description
The Antiquity Jazz Bass bridge pickup is Seymour Duncan’s take on that early-70s single-coil growl, built to slot straight into your classic without any routing surprises. It’s wound “top coming” with South polarity, so when it’s teamed up with the matching Antiquity neck unit, the pair cancels hum while keeping that distinct split-personality Jazz Bass voice — punchy and midrange-forward at the bridge, warmer up at the neck.
Pole spacing follows the traditional layout, and the magnets are set to protrude from both the top and bottom of the flatwork, which helps even out string-to-string response across the raised pattern. Everything arrives dressed for the part: an aged black pickup cover, mounting screws, a wiring schematic, and old-school push-back cloth-braid hookup wire for that period-correct install.
