This particular harness is voiced for fretless players. Instead of a generic pickup blend, the second volume pot is configured as a Blend control tailored to fretless response, letting you dial in the exact balance of growl and glassy sustain that fretless tone demands. A push-pull on the main Volume pot switches the whole circuit between active and passive operation, so you’re never locked into one mode — go passive for a warmer, more vintage response, or flip to active for headroom and shaping power.
Tone control comes from a proper 3-band EQ: a Treble/Bass stack handles the top and bottom, while a separate Mid control includes a push-pull for two selectable frequency centers, giving you real flexibility in carving out where your bass sits in a mix.
