Description

When you’re running both a magnetic pickup and a piezo source on the same instrument, keeping them balanced and noise-free is half the battle. The Bartolini MPB1918 solves that with a dedicated buffer for each signal path: the piezo side stays flat and uncolored (no added low-end bump), while the magnetic side gets its own adjustable gain trim pot so you can dial the two channels into proportion before they ever hit your blend control.

At its core this is a 25K blend pot setup paired with buffering electronics that protect your pickup’s output from being sucked dry by pedals, true-bypass loops, or long cable runs downstream. It’s not trying to be a full EQ on its own — instead it’s built to sit in front of one, playing nicely with Bartolini’s NTMB or TCT 3-band preamps, the NTBT 2-band, or even a simple passive tone circuit if that’s more your speed.

Because it handles both magnetic and piezo sources cleanly, this module is equally at home on an acoustic guitar with an under-saddle pickup and onboard magnetic, a bass with dual pickup systems, or any electric build where you’re chasing hybrid tones.
