Description
The Bartolini P25S-B brings the Singularity design to the neck position of a 5-string bass in the compact P2 soapbar footprint — 4.26″ (108.08mm) long by 1.27″ (32.13mm) wide, ready to drop into routs sized for that shape.
Where most single coils force a tradeoff between vintage character and modern hum-free operation, Singularity pickups sidestep it entirely. The asymmetric blade design gives you a genuinely massive single-coil voice: deep, authoritative lows and low-mids paired with a treble response that stays articulate and bright rather than harsh. That blade geometry also does double duty as a precise sensing aperture, which is why these pickups track evenly across a wide range of string spacings without one string jumping out or another disappearing into the mix.
- P2 soapbar shape for the neck position, 5-string configuration
- Singularity single coil design — powerful lows/low-mids, bright treble
- Asymmetric blade for even string-to-string output balance
- Fully shielded against electromagnetic interference
- Epoxy-sealed construction to kill microphonics
If you love the growl and snap of a real single coil but can’t stand the 60-cycle hum that usually comes with it, this is the pickup that lets you have both — full-throated single coil tone, dead quiet in operation.
