Description
Built alongside progressive guitarist Jake Bowen, the Titan 7 Neck answers the flood of requests that followed DiMarzio’s original 6-string Titan release. Bowen road-tested and studio-tested these 7-string prototypes extensively before signing off on the final design, and it shows in how well the pickup handles his genre-spanning demands.
His playing swings from crushing low-string riffing to spacious, orchestral clean passages, so the Titan 7 Neck was voiced to keep highs, mids, and lows in equal balance rather than favoring one register. That evenness makes it a strong match for extended-range instruments where clarity on the low strings matters just as much as top-end bite. It’s also notably reactive to pick dynamics and volume knob changes, letting you shape expression on the fly instead of relying on a single fixed voice.
Finished in white to suit a wide range of pickguards and body finishes.
