The Aura Sixteen closes that gap by blending your pickup’s clean signal with an Aura Image — a captured snapshot of a real acoustic guitar recorded through top-tier studio mics and techniques. The result is a natural, three-dimensional voice you can take onstage without hauling a mic stand or fighting feedback.
Sixteen Dreadnought guitar Images come loaded and ready, and every one of them is user-configurable, so you can dial in exactly how much “studio” you want blended into your “pickup.” When you’re ready for more options, connect the pedal to your Mac or PC with the included USB cable and pull additional Images from Fishman’s Aura Image Gallery software (also included on CD).
Everyday playability was clearly part of the design brief here: a Phase switch tames feedback before it starts, a Bypass/Mute footswitch keeps quiet-stage moments quiet, and an Input Trim lets you match levels to your specific pickup. A Clip/Low Battery indicator keeps you from getting caught off guard mid-set.
