The Fishman Full Circle isn’t trying to reinvent your upright’s tone—it’s trying to get out of the way of it. Built into a sturdy aluminum height adjuster wheel, this pickup replaces the standard hardware on your endpin and taps directly into the bridge’s natural vibration, so what comes through your amp is genuinely your bass: fat, punchy pizzicato, full-bodied arco, or a slap that still sounds like wood and gut, not just electronics.

A built-in fine-tuning adjustment lets you dial the response to suit your instrument and playing style, choosing between a more open, resonant character or a tighter, drier focus when you need the amplified tone to cut through cleanly. Because it’s designed for basses that already use height adjustment wheels, installation is refreshingly quick as retrofits go—though professional installation is still recommended to get it seated and tuned correctly.

This is the UNC 1/4-20 threading version; if your bass uses metric hardware, Fishman also offers a 6x1mm format of the same pickup. Pairing the Full Circle with an impedance-matching preamp—Fishman’s Pro-EQ Platinum Bass, Pro-EQ II, or B-II—isn’t mandatory, but it will help you get the most transparent, balanced output from the pickup.
