Description
Plugging an acoustic in shouldn’t mean sacrificing the nuance you worked to get out of the top and back. The Prefix Plus-T tackles that problem with genuinely quiet electronics and a control set deep enough to shape your voice on the fly: Volume, Bass, Treble, a Brilliance slider, and a semi-parametric Contour knob that lets you hunt down and tame or boost specific frequency ranges rather than just nudging a generic EQ curve.
Feedback is the enemy of any acoustic-electric on a loud stage, so Fishman built in a Notch filter and a Phase switch to help you kill howl before it starts. There’s also a chromatic tuner mounted right on the preamp, and it works whether or not the instrument is plugged into an amp — handy for silent tuning between songs.
This listing is the narrow-format version of the Plus-T, built around Fishman’s Acoustic Matrix Undersaddle Pickup at 3/32″ (2.3mm) width and paired with a Switchjack Stereo Endpin Jack. A wide-format version is also available if your saddle slot calls for it.
