Description
The TriplePlay system is Fishman’s answer to guitarists who want synth-level flexibility without ditching their favorite instrument. A low-profile hexaphonic pickup mounts behind the bridge on virtually any electric guitar, feeding six independent strings’ worth of pitch and dynamics data to a wireless controller and USB receiver — no 13-pin cable, no permanent routing or drilling required.
Once installed, you can split the neck by string or fret, stack up to four instruments at once, or hold a sustained pad while soloing over it. The onboard guitar/mix/synth switch, volume knob, and menu buttons keep everything accessible mid-performance, and the rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery is good for over 20 hours between charges. At under half an inch thick, the pickup stays put and still lets your guitar close in its case.
This unit comes complete with the wireless controller, hexaphonic pickup, USB receiver, mounting hardware, fast-charge power pack, and USB charging cable, plus the full companion software suite:
- Native Instruments — KOMPLETE Elements and GuitarRig LE
- Notion Music — PROGRESSION 2
- IK Multimedia — SampleTank 2 XT and AmpliTube Custom Shop
- PreSonus — Studio One Artist TriplePlay Edition
RF range extends over 100 feet, and the receiver connects via USB to a Mac or PC running standard DAW software — requires broadband for initial software authentication, 4GB RAM, 10GB free storage, and Windows 7+/OS X 10.6+.
This is a gently used unit, fully functional and ready to install on your next guitar. Model PRO-TRP-301.
