Description
Before Fender thinned things out, Telecaster necks were built like this one – a substantial, fat “U”-shaped profile that fills your palm and gives every chord a sense of mass behind it. Made at Fender’s Ensenada, Mexico facility, this genuine vintage-style neck is a faithful nod to the original 1951 Tele spec, right down to the feel in your hand.
The one-piece maple fingerboard carries a 9.5″ radius, striking a practical middle ground between vintage flatness and modern playability – flat enough to channel that early-’50s twang and comfortable enough for bends without fretting out. Fender’s tall, narrow 6105 fret wire (21 frets total) sits on top, giving you smoother bending and easier vibrato than the original vintage frets ever offered, without pushing the neck into modern-shred territory.
