Description
Nut friction is one of the sneakier culprits behind tuning drift, especially on guitars that see heavy tremolo use or wide bends. Fender’s LSR roller nut swaps out the standard static slots for a rolling mechanism, letting each string glide freely instead of binding and hanging up. The result is a Strat that returns to pitch more reliably and holds tune better under real playing conditions.
This brushed-chrome assembly is built for American Deluxe Stratocasters with HSS pickup configurations, and it also fits older Strat Plus models thanks to the included Wilkinson adapter. It’s rated for string gauges from .008 to .056, covering everything from light-top sets to a beefier low end, and it’s designed for right-hand instruments only.
Everything you need to get it mounted comes in the box:
- Brushed-chrome LSR roller nut assembly
- Mounting hardware
- Shims
- Wilkinson adapter
- Installation instructions
Keep in mind this is a nut swap, not a drop-in bolt-on for every Strat — some routing or fit adjustment may be needed depending on your specific instrument, so factor that into your install plan. Once it’s in, though, you get smoother tremolo return and steadier pitch, string after string, bend after bend.
