Named after one of shred’s most technically dazzling players, the Perpetual Burn Trembucker is voiced to keep every note articulate even when you’re firing off cascading runs at full tilt. Seymour Duncan built it around an Alnico 5 bar magnet and gave it a wind that sits well above vintage output, landing at 12.11k DC resistance. The result is a pickup with real push behind it, but one that never turns to mush when the picking gets fast and dense.
That extra output makes it a natural fit for metal and shred tones that need to cut without losing definition, yet the pickup stays responsive enough to clean up nicely for blues phrasing, fusion runs, or dynamic rock playing where touch matters.
