The SH-55B is Seymour Duncan and Seth Lover’s own recreation of the humbucker that started it all, and this bridge-position version comes housed in a gold cover with 4-conductor wiring for full coil-splitting and phase flexibility. Nothing about the build cuts corners on authenticity: nickel silver cover and long-legged baseplate, butyrate bobbins, plain enamel magnet wire, an Alnico 2 bar magnet, a wooden spacer, and black paper tape holding it all together.
