Description
The Duncan Custom Trembucker takes the beloved “PAF on steroids” formula and widens the pole spacing to match Fender-style tremolo bridges and post-1999 Gibson instruments. If you’ve wanted that Custom growl but your bridge geometry says no, this ‘F’-spaced version says yes.
Under the hood, a ceramic magnet and custom coil winding give you compressed dynamics and a beefed-up harmonic push, translating into a bass response that stays tight and defined rather than turning to mush — even when you drop-tune. Up top, expect a distinctive high-end bite and midrange attack that cuts through dense mixes, making it a natural fit for classic rock, heavy rock, funk, punk, R&B, and metal.
- Ceramic magnet with custom coil design for compressed dynamics and punchy low end
- Enhanced harmonic structure and aggressive midrange attack
- Built for Fender-spaced instruments, tremolo-equipped guitars, and post-1999 Gibsons
- Four-conductor hookup cable included
- Recommended for the bridge position
Pair it with an SH-1 ’59 in the neck if you want the full spectrum: vintage-correct PAF warmth up front, Custom-grade snarl and sustain at the bridge. Works particularly well on balanced, warm-sounding instruments, and shines on rosewood fingerboards where its aggressive edge gets a touch of smoothing.
