The TM-3 takes Tom Anderson’s M-Series formula and mounts it directly onto a T-style bridge baseplate, so you get that huge, single-coil-flavored voice in a package built for T-bridge guitars. It won’t drop into an ashtray-style bridge, but if your Tele takes a standard T-bridge plate, this pickup is purpose-built for it.
What makes the M-Series design work is the angled coil alignment. Rather than sitting straight across the strings, the coil’s angle preserves the top-end shimmer you expect from a traditional single coil while thickening up the midrange into something noticeably bigger and more muscular. And because it’s hum-canceling by design, you get that added girth without the 60-cycle buzz that plagues true single coils.
The TM-3 is the hotter of the bridge-position options in this series, dialed in for players who want their T-style tone to lead the mix. Expect a bit more saturation and push on top of that signature M-Series body — ideal when you need the bridge pickup to dominate the sound rather than just support it.
