Description
This set pairs two of DiMarzio’s most versatile humbuckers, built for players who want clarity and cut without sacrificing size. The PAF Pro DP151 in the neck was designed for an era when high-gain rigs and rack processors demanded a pickup that could stay articulate instead of getting swallowed by effects. It keeps a vintage PAF character but with sharper definition: low strings hit with both snap and chunk, there’s a distinctive mid-range push that gives notes a subtle vowel-like quality, and the top end stays present without turning harsh. It works well in almost any position, but really shines in the neck slot, or in the bridge when you don’t need maximum output.
Loaded into the bridge, the Tone Zone DP155 solves the classic hot-pickup problem — that thin, buzzy
