The EMG BQC is a pre-wired preamp system built exclusively for EMG pickups, designed to give bass players fingertip control over tone without any DIY wiring headaches. It’s a 4-knob layout: master volume, a pickup balance/blend control, a concentric bass/treble pot, and a dedicated mid control — so you get full-range EQ shaping from a compact footprint in your control cavity.
Every EQ and blend knob on the BQC features a center detent, meaning you can find your flat, neutral tone by feel alone, then dial away from it in either direction with confidence. That’s a small detail that makes a real difference on stage when you’re adjusting on the fly without staring down at your bass.
Because it’s pre-wired, installation is straightforward — solder in your EMG pickups, mount the pots, and you’re dialing in tone in minutes rather than hours. All knobs are included in the package.
