The EMG BTC Control puts active-style EQ shaping into a single, space-saving stacked pot, giving you independent bass and treble control without carving up your control cavity. It’s pickup-agnostic, so whether you’re running active EMGs or passive pickups, this circuit slots right in and gives you roughly 12dB of cut and boost on both bass and treble bands.
Every control is center-detented, so you can dial in your EQ, go wild, and snap right back to your baseline tone without hunting for it by ear. Behind the scenes, a dual-dip switch mounted directly to the PC board lets you reconfigure the high-end frequency response four different ways, letting you tune exactly where that treble boost bites for your rig.
Built on surface mount technology, the BTC keeps noise floor low and current draw minimal, so a single 9-volt battery will keep you covered for a long stretch of playing time.
