This set pairs the DP260BC neck with the F-spaced DP261FBC bridge, both finished in classic black and creme bobbins for a look as timeless as the tone.
The neck pickup runs on an Alnico 5 magnet with 4-conductor wiring, putting out 193mV at 7.37 Kohm DC resistance. It’s voiced for clarity without thinness — full-bodied and throaty on the low end, with smooth, creamy top end that lets single notes and chords ring out distinctly rather than blur together. Sustain and articulation were both priorities in the wind count, so it sings without losing definition.
On the bridge side, the DP261FBC swaps to an Alnico 4 magnet and delivers a hotter 278mV output at 7.69 Kohm resistance, still wired 4-conductor (with 1-conductor use also an option). This one’s built for touch sensitivity — it responds to how hard you dig in, handles multi-note passages with real character, and rewards aggressive picking with a thick, snarling rock and roll growl.
