This set pairs the DP260BC neck with the F-spaced DP261FBC bridge, giving you a cohesive voice across the whole neck without the muddiness some vintage-style sets suffer from.
The neck pickup is wound with just enough turns to stay articulate: full and throaty without tipping into fatness, with smooth, creamy highs that let single notes cut through chords cleanly. It’s the kind of neck tone that sustains and sings rather than just thickening things up.
The bridge pickup brings the rock and roll attitude — touch-sensitive, responsive to dynamics, and genuinely musical on chords and intervals, not just single-note runs. Dig in and it turns snarly and thick without losing definition; back off and it cleans up nicely.
