Description
This is the Seymour Duncan Basslines pairing bassists reach for when a standard PJ setup just isn’t loud or aggressive enough. The SPB-2 handles Precision Bass duties as a hotter-wound single-coil, adding real output gain along with fuller lows and a thicker overall voice — the kind of push that suits rock, blues, and pop players who want their P-side to lead the mix. It ships with black logo covers, a wiring diagram, and mounting screws.
On the bridge side, the SJB-2B takes the familiar Vintage Jazz pickup blueprint and rewinds it more aggressively. The result keeps some of that classic character but shifts emphasis toward the midrange, giving you a punchier, more rock-forward growl than a stock Vintage Jazz pickup delivers. A matching logo cover is included.
- SPB-2: hot single-coil Precision pickup, higher output, fuller low end
- SJB-2B: hot-wound Jazz bridge pickup, Vintage-based design with heavier mids
- Logo covers, wiring diagram, and mounting screws included
- Well matched to STC-2 or STC-3 tone circuits for a complete active/passive setup
- Set includes free EB Power Slinky strings
Best suited for players chasing classic rock, heavy rock, pop, and blues tones out of a PJ configuration — this set adds muscle without sacrificing the punch that makes P/J basses so versatile.
