The STR-2 neck pickup uses a sensitive coil wound around custom-length flat pole pieces, which helps push sustain further than a standard Vintage design. On the bridge side, the STL-2 mirrors that high-output coil construction for a full, clear voice, and it’s dressed in a chrome-plated brass cover for that unmistakable blacked-out Tele look and a touch of extra shielding.
