The Feather Clear is built for players who don’t want to drill, route, or permanently alter their instrument just to go electric. It’s a fully self-contained clip-on system: attach it, plug in, and you’ve got an internally powered, active preamp ready to capture the natural voice of your guitar, ukulele, or acoustic bass.
The preamp module is compact — just 1.97″ x 1.38″ x .79″ — and runs on a pre-installed lithium battery, so there’s no soldering, no cavity work, and no waiting around before your next set. Every unit is bench-tested before it ships, and the output plays nicely with wireless transmitters and effects pedals alike, so it slots straight into whatever signal chain you’re already running.
Mounting flexibility is the whole point here. The kit gives you multiple ways to position the pickup depending on your instrument and how much resonance you want to capture, from a flexible gooseneck to clip and suction-cup options.
