The SA-6 Mag Mic solves the age-old acoustic pickup dilemma by putting two very different tone sources in one soundhole unit and letting you decide the ratio. A hum-canceling Stack coil handles the magnetic side, always live and ready to go, while an internal omni-directional electret condenser mic captures the top-end shimmer and body resonance that magnetics alone tend to miss.
Onboard controls keep things simple: a master volume and a mic blend knob. Dial the mic in when you want extra sparkle, detail, and a more “in the room” character. Dial it back toward the magnetic-only signal when you’re fighting stage volume and need better feedback resistance. It’s a genuinely useful way to adapt your tone to the room rather than being locked into one voicing.
Twelve individually adjustable pole pieces span the coil, so you can fine-tune string-to-string balance to match your guitar’s specific neck radius instead of settling for a generic response curve. Built for high-quality 6- and 12-string acoustics with soundholes measuring between 3.85″ and 4.10″.
