The EMG-RT is the bigger, brawnier sibling to the EMG-FT, built specifically for the bridge position on your Telecaster*. Where the FT keeps things lean, the RT’s larger footprint delivers a noticeably thicker, fatter voice while holding onto the twang and articulate bite that defines classic Tele tone. Like all EMG-T pickups, it runs fully active and completely noiseless — no 60-cycle hum, no buzz, no microphonic squeal creeping into your signal, just quiet headroom and consistent output whether you’re chicken-pickin’ clean or driving an amp into breakup.
This is a complete drop-in system, not just a pickup. EMG hands you everything needed to get it wired and gigging:
