Description
Babicz built the FCH Z-Series to solve a problem Tele players have lived with for decades: how do you get humbucker output and hum-cancelling clarity without giving up that classic string-through bridge feel? This chrome-finished unit is the answer, dropping a full humbucker pickup configuration into a 4-hole mount bridge plate designed for standard Telecaster routing.
The real engineering story is in the saddles. Babicz’s eCAM (eccentric cam) technology lets each saddle rotate and lock into place with a single screw, so you set your intonation point once and it stays put — no more saddles creeping under string tension or vibration. It’s a small detail that makes a real difference if you’re tired of re-intonating every few sets.
Everything you need to get it mounted is in the box: the bridge assembly itself, mounting screws, a set of instructions, and the 1.5mm adjustment wrench for dialing in the eCAM saddles. At 6 oz, it adds a bit of mass and sustain over a stamped steel bridge without throwing off your guitar’s balance. The steel Babicz logo plate rounds out the chrome finish for a clean, factory-style look.
