Description
Seymour Duncan’s Retrospec’d Antiquity Tele neck pickup captures the warmth of a golden-era Telecaster without the worn-in cosmetics. It’s built for players who want that classic rhythm voice u2014 rounded low end, glassy top end u2014 wrapped in hardware that looks factory-fresh rather than road-worn, making it a natural fit for newer instruments.
Under the hood, hand-ground Alnico V rod magnets are custom-calibrated and paired with Seymour Duncan’s traditional coil winding to produce a smooth, musical response. Strum through open chords and you’ll hear a full, woody body that fills out the sound without turning muddy. Dig into single-note runs or chicken-pickin’ licks and the pickup snaps back with the percussive clarity Tele players chase.
The RW/RP (reverse-wound, reverse-polarity) configuration means this neck pickup cancels hum when paired with the Antiquity Tele bridge pickup, giving you a quiet, balanced middle position.
- Hand-built in the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop
- Hand-ground Alnico V rod magnets, custom-calibrated
- RW/RP wiring for hum-canceling in the middle position (with Antiquity bridge pickup)

If you love the sound of a well-worn ’50s Telecaster but want your gear to look brand new, this pickup delivers the tone without the patina.
