Description
Born out of Periphery guitarist Jake Bowen’s search for a bridge pickup that could stay disciplined under palm-muted riffing without losing warmth on open chords, the Titan Bridge Model is voiced for players who move between precision and chaos in the same song. Developed alongside Ibanez for Bowen’s signature build, it’s an F-spaced humbucker engineered to hold its footing across standard and dropped tunings without turning muddy or brittle.
The ceramic magnet gives it the punch and clarity needed to cut through dense, mid-forward mixes—exactly the kind of tonal territory progressive rock demands. Palm-muted chugs come out tight and controlled, while letting go into open voicings reveals a surprising amount of ring and sustain rather than the clamped-down feel some high-output bridge pickups suffer from.
