Description
Most magnetic soundhole pickups nail the string attack but leave the guitar’s actual body out of the equation. The M80 takes a different approach with a patented floating secondary coil that does double duty — it hums out noise like a standard humbucker, but it also acts as a 3D sensor for the top’s natural vibration.
As the soundboard moves, that floating coil interacts with the pickup’s magnets across multiple axes, thanks to a proprietary suspension system that lets each direction of movement contribute to the tone. The result is a blended signal: your string tone plus a carefully dosed amount of body resonance, layered in for added depth and complexity rather than overwhelming feedback-prone boom.
Because it’s a magnetic design mounted at the soundhole, installation stays simple — no saddle slot routing, no under-saddle transducer to fit. It’s a genuinely plug-and-play way to get closer to your guitar’s real acoustic character amplified.
