Description
The STK-S2N takes the classic Strat neck pickup and quietly rewires the rulebook. Instead of a single flat coil, Seymour Duncan stacks two coils around a strong ceramic bar magnet, cancelling 60-cycle hum while pushing considerably more signal into your amp than a vintage-style single coil ever could.
That extra output translates into longer sustain and a more sensitive pickup response to your picking dynamics — dig in and it snarls, back off and it still cleans up nicely. It’s a versatile voice that covers country twang, blues grit, pop clarity, and both classic and heavy rock without sounding out of place in any of them.
Because it’s built to full-size single-coil dimensions, it drops straight into any Strat-style pickguard or route with no modification needed. It ships with a four-conductor hookup cable, giving you the wiring flexibility to split coils or wire it however your setup calls for.
- Hot stacked single-coil design with hum cancellation
- Ceramic bar magnet for strong output and sustain
- Four-conductor cable for flexible wiring options
- Sized for neck or middle position (bridge version also available)
- Suits well-balanced guitars with maple or rosewood fingerboards
- Great for stage and studio use
If your Strat’s neck pickup has always felt a little thin or noisy under gain, the STK-S2N swaps in serious low-noise horsepower while keeping the single-coil character intact.
