Description
Stop lugging three guitars to the gig. The Seymour Duncan P-Rails set gives you full-size humbucker muscle, fat P-90 growl, and glassy vintage single-coil sparkle from one neck/bridge pair — all switchable in real time thanks to the pre-wired LP Triple Shot mounting rings (black finish, arched design for arched-top guitars).
Each P-Rails pickup is really two coils in one housing: a mismatched humbucker configuration that splits down to either a true P-90 voice or a special Alnico 5 bar Rail coil that nails those quacky Strat-style “2” and “4” position tones. With the Triple Shot rings wired in, you get access to series, parallel, and split configurations per pickup — 24 total tonal combinations between the pair. No soldering, no fuss, just flip the switches and chase the sound in your head.
- Pre-wired Bridge + Neck set, black finish, Triple Shot rings included
- Magnet type: Alnico 5 bar, four-conductor cable
- Neck: 5.60K DC resistance, 7.0KHz resonant peak
- Bridge: 8.56K DC resistance, 6.0KHz resonant peak
- Includes free Elixir Super Light guitar strings
Best results come from running the set as intended — neck and bridge together — so the Rail coils can do their single-coil trick properly. Works in any guitar routed for standard humbuckers or Trembuckers. Players like Peter Stroud (Sheryl Crow Band), Blues Saraceno, and Eric Miker (Decemberadio) have leaned on P-Rails for exactly this kind of tonal flexibility on stage.
