PowerTap Infinity takes Fishman’s best-selling Matrix Infinity undersaddle pickup and pairs it with something entirely new: a soundboard-mounted Tap sensor that picks up the touch, ambience, and percussive knock of the top itself. Two very different signals, one system, and a Blend control that lets you dial in exactly how much “body” versus “string” you want in the mix.
Run it mono through the Blend knob for a single balanced tone, or grab a stereo cable and split the two pickups to separate channels entirely — great for running independent EQ or effects on the undersaddle and the Tap sensor at the same time. It’s a genuinely different way to shape an acoustic-electric tone from a single guitar.
The controls have been reworked for real-world use: the endpin preamp sits in a soft-touch housing, the soundhole Volume/Tone module is now sealed against dust and knocks, and the voicing switch has been relocated so it’s actually easy to reach mid-gig. The scoop-style Tone control cuts mids while lifting bass and treble for that classic acoustic-electric sparkle.

This is the Wide format undersaddle; narrow, split saddle, and custom lengths are also available by special order. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
