Part of the Classic Bass (CB) series, this passive single-coil pickup was designed to widen the frequency window players are used to hearing from a stock Precision pickup, adding real air and top-end definition without thinning out the lows and low-mids that make a P-Bass a P-Bass.
Each pickup is cast in epoxy, which keeps things quiet — no unwanted feedback squeal or handling microphonics creeping into your signal, even at higher gain or stage volume.
Built to the standard P-Bass shape, the 8CBP drops into any 4-string Precision-style bass as a direct pickup swap, with the two-piece set overlapping by 3/4″ (19mm) just like the original design.
