This Bartolini HR4.6AP/918 harness skips all of that — it’s a complete, pre-assembled control set built around Bartolini’s proven 3-band EQ, dropped into your bass with minimal fuss and maximum reliability.
What sets this harness apart is the active/passive push-pull built right into the Volume control. Flip it and you go from a fully buffered, EQ-shaped active signal to a straight passive path — useful if you want the option to bypass the electronics entirely, whether for tone, backup, or just to hear what your pickups sound like raw. The Blend pot shares that same knob position, so you’re not hunting for an extra hole to drill.
On the tone side, you get a stacked Treble/Bass control paired with a Mid knob that includes a push-pull for switching between two different frequency centers — giving you a wider EQ range than a standard fixed-mid setup without adding another control to the faceplate.
