Rather than just adding gain, it reshapes the frequency response with a targeted low-mid peak and an extended high-frequency shelf, letting you dial in growl and clarity from the same knob.
Turn the Mid control from center click toward minimum and you’re cutting low mids around 400 Hz for a scooped, modern voice. Push it from center toward maximum instead, and the MCT375 kicks in a low mid boost centered at 375 Hz plus a treble lift spanning 2kHz to 15kHz — think punchy midrange bark paired with articulate top-end sparkle, useful for slap, fingerstyle definition, or just cutting through a dense mix.
