The MK4CBC-B is Bartolini’s MK Soapbar-shaped humbucker, sized for the bridge position at 4.24″ (107.57mm) long and 1.33″ (33.66mm) wide. Its dual-coil layout is voiced for weight down low—big lows and low-mids that anchor a mix—while still opening up into a bright, articulate treble that keeps note definition from getting lost under the fundamental.
It’s built as part of Bartolini’s Classic Bass series, a passive lineup designed around an extended, more resonant frequency window than typical soapbar pickups. Rather than the usual scooped-mid, boomy-low bass tone, these pickups push more air and clarity through the high end without sacrificing the low-frequency punch bass players rely on.
