The P25CBC-B brings Bartolini’s Classic Bass Constant series design into a P2-shaped soapbar, sized for the neck position on 5-string basses. At 4.26″ (108.08mm) long and 1.27″ (32.13mm) wide, it drops into standard P2 routes without any surprises.
Inside, the dual-coil layout is voiced to dig deep — strong low end and low-mid weight give it that familiar P-style thump — while the treble stays articulate rather than dull or boxy. It’s the kind of pickup that lets you dig in hard without the tone collapsing into mush.
As part of Bartolini’s Classic Bass line, this is a passive pickup engineered with an extended, more resonant frequency window than typical soapbars. The goal is more air and clarity up top without giving up any of the low-end authority players expect from a P2. Every unit is epoxy-potted, which locks the coil windings in place to kill microphonic noise and squash unwanted feedback — useful if you’re running higher stage volumes or gain-heavy rigs.
