If you’ve chased the vintage PAF sound but wanted it a touch quieter and more articulate, this pairing is built for exactly that. The DP260BC neck and DP261FBC bridge (F-spaced for aligned pole pieces under your bridge strings) take the classic PAF template and refine it without sanding off the character.
- DP260BC Neck: 4-conductor wiring, Alnico 5 magnet, 193mV output, 7.37 Kohm DC resistance. Winding count is dialed in to keep this pickup singing and sustaining while staying clear — full-bodied and throaty without turning to mud, with smooth, creamy top end.
- DP261FBC Bridge: 4-conductor wiring (1-conductor optional), Alnico 4 magnet, 278mV output, 7.69 Kohm DC resistance. This one’s got attitude — dig in and it snarls with thick, rock and roll grit, and it handles chords and double stops with real touch sensitivity.
Together they cover the full range a PAF fan wants: articulate low-output warmth on the neck, punchy dynamic bite on the bridge. Finished in black and creme bobbins for that classic split-cap look.
