DiMarzio’s PAF Master set was built for players chasing that elusive vintage PAF magic — quiet, articulate, and alive under your fingers — without the muddiness some old-school pickups suffer from. This set pairs the DP260BC neck with the F-spaced DP261FBC bridge, both finished in classic black and creme bobbins.
The PAF Master Neck is voiced for singing sustain and clarity. It’s wound just enough to stay articulate while offering a rich, throaty midrange and smooth, creamy top end — full-bodied without turning to mush. Chords stay defined, single notes bloom, and nothing gets lost in the low mids.
The PAF Master Bridge (F-spaced for aligned pole pieces under wound strings) brings the attitude. It’s touch-sensitive, responds well to chords and intervals, and rewards a hard pick attack with a snarling, thick rock tone that never turns brittle or harsh.
