Description
PAF Pro (DP151BK) — Neck
Born in the mid-’80s when players started chasing high-gain amps and rack rigs, the PAF Pro was built to keep PAF-style openness alive under heavy processing. Rather than getting swallowed by distortion and effects, it stays transparent and present. Lows have snap and chunk, the mids carry a distinctive vowel-like push (think a wah frozen halfway), and the highs stay articulate without turning glassy or harsh. It works well in the neck, and doubles as a strong bridge pickup for players who don’t need max output.

Tone Zone (DP155BK) — Bridge
If your bridge pickup has ever made your guitar sound like a swarm of angry insects, the Tone Zone fixes that. It’s a genuinely hot pickup, but with real touch sensitivity — dig in and it roars, back off and it cleans up nicely. Bass and low-mid content are massive, giving chords real size and single notes real depth, while DiMarzio’s patented dual-resonance coils keep the overtone content surprisingly rich for something this fat-sounding. Split it for a convincing single-coil voice, or pair it with the PAF Pro for a balanced two-humbucker setup with headroom to spare.
