Dig in and the Virtual Vintage 54 Pro doesn’t just get louder — it thickens and almost compresses, delivering a fatter, woodier voice that blues players lean on to beef up solos, especially out of the bridge. Drop it in the neck or middle slot and it does double duty softening an otherwise glassy, bright-sounding guitar.
The specially graded Alnico 2 magnet is worth calling out on its own: it’s tuned to reduce string pull compared to standard Alnico 2, so sustain and intonation stay solid even under aggressive attack.
