Every joint is hand-soldered in the USA, and the whole thing is assembled ’50s style with period-correct buss wire grounding, so you get that open, three-dimensional vintage voice without hunting down a tech.
What does ’50s wiring actually change? Rolling back the volume knob stops robbing you of treble the way modern wiring does – the tone stays articulate instead of going dark and muddy. Volume and tone controls respond more evenly across their sweep too, with none of the abrupt jumps typical of stock harnesses. There’s also a subtle interaction between the two controls (think tweed Fender amps), where nudging one nudges the other slightly – a little strange for the first five minutes, then second nature.
