Description
The EMG BTS System is built exclusively for EMG active pickups, giving bass players a fully pre-wired control setup that goes well beyond a standard volume/tone layout. Instead of a single passive tone knob fighting to do everything, the BTS splits your EQ into independent bass and treble pots, letting you carve low-end thump and top-end bite as two separate variables rather than one blunt compromise.
Alongside the dedicated bass and treble controls, the harness includes a master volume and a balance (blend) control for mixing your neck and bridge pickups to taste – from full neck warmth through a hum-cancelling blend to punchy bridge bite. Because it’s a pre-wired system, the wiring itself is already sorted out; your job is just mounting the pots and knobs and getting back to playing.
This kit ships with 4 control knobs to finish out the electronics cavity. Keep in mind the BTS System is designed to work with EMG pickups only – it won’t play nice with passive or non-EMG active pickups, so double-check your pickup setup before ordering.
