The EMG BTS System gives active EMG pickups a proper active EQ setup without you having to hand-wire anything. It’s a complete pre-wired harness built specifically for EMG pickups, combining a balance (blend) control, a master volume, and separate bass and treble pots so each end of your tone spectrum gets its own dedicated control.
Instead of one shared tone knob trying to do double duty, you get real independent shaping: dial in more low-end punch for a fuller neck pickup sound, or carve out extra treble bite when you flip to the bridge. The balance control lets you blend between pickups smoothly rather than just switching between them, and the master volume keeps overall output in check no matter how you’ve set the EQ.
