Bassists across every genre reach for the P because it doesn’t pick favorites—slap, fingerstyle, pick, whatever you throw at it comes back with punchy midrange, powerful lows, and the kind of definition that cuts through a mix instead of hiding in it. If you’d rather tame the highs slightly, EMG also offers this same design with ceramic steel magnets for a smoother top-end response.
