It’s not a signature-series reissue guessing at his tone – it’s the actual pickup found in those guitars, hand-wound in Fender’s Corona, California custom shop.
Expect a high-output humbucker with a full-range voice: plenty of low-end weight for rhythm work, but enough top-end detail that lead lines don’t turn to mush. It’s a pickup designed to sit under a hard-driving amp and still let every note come through clearly, whether you’re doing tapping runs, dive bombs, or just riffing.
Finished in the classic black-and-white cosmetic that matches the Wolfgang aesthetic exactly, this unit wires up with 4-conductor cable, giving you the flexibility to split coils or wire it in series/parallel if your setup calls for it.
