Description
This is the 250K “no-load” potentiometer Fender built its Delta Tone™ system around, and it’s a sneaky-effective upgrade for anyone who wants a fuller, more open top end without giving up tone control altogether. From 1 to 9 it behaves exactly like a standard tone pot, rolling off highs the way you’d expect. Push it to 10, though, and the wiper physically disconnects the tone circuit from the signal path — no capacitor, no load, just your pickup talking straight to the output jack. The difference in clarity and output at that last click is genuinely audible, especially on brighter single coils that could use a touch more air.
- 250K no-load potentiometer
- 3/8″ split-shaft design for a snug, wobble-free fit
- Sized for push-on control knobs (no set screw required)
- Mounting hardware included
- .022uf 250V tone capacitor included
Built to drop into most American- and Mexico-made Fender instruments calling for a 3/8″ split-shaft pot, this is a straightforward swap for players rewiring a Strat, Tele, or similar circuit and chasing that extra bit of sparkle when the tone knob’s cranked wide open. Everything you need to wire it in — cap and hardware included — comes in the box.
