Description
If you love the look of a one-piece maple neck but find true vintage hard “V” shapes exhausting to play, this Classic Player ’50s Stratocaster® neck splits the difference nicely. Fender’s Ensenada, Mexico facility built it with a Soft V profile — enough shoulder in your palm to feel period-correct, without the fatigue of an original ’50s carve during longer sets.
The maple fingerboard is glued directly to the maple neck for that bright, snappy attack and pronounced high-end sizzle Strat players chase when they go full maple. A 9.5″ fingerboard radius keeps chords ringing clean while still letting you dig into bends without fretting out, and 21 medium jumbo frets give you a taller, wider playing surface than vintage-spec wire, making fast runs and vibrato feel more forgiving under the fingers.
